5 Minutes in Annulus

How does one escape a circle?
Is there an easy exit going ignored
or is one required to climb out;
…and in this climb which will be easier,
the going up or the coming down?
The come down that may be a rapid pace
possibly crashing harder than desired, but
nonetheless a pleasant conclusion is what’s anticipated
right!?

For if the presence remains in the circle
dizziness will prevail further leading into a fall out.
Upset stomach, blurred vision.
Not quite salubrious as I had hoped for
when I,
first gave my overture at a tender age…
sometimes feeling foolish for going in at
a young stage of life.
I can not bring myself to feel or be
contrite about this circular occurrence…

I wonder, if the mice in the test labs feel the same.
Do they even feel after a while;
or do they just grow numb from it all?
Somewhat like I!

In comparing myself with those mice
I can not help but to envision
those metal wheels that go
around and around.
The wheel doesn’t stop if the mouse stops running,
but only slows down if the mouse does the same or,
unless the mouse precariously jumps in an off ward motion.

Well… in my wheel it is overt that slowing down is out of
my control so,
a big leap of faith is what it is I feel I must take.
It’s going to be immense,
and yeah, it’s going to fucking hurt
but the physical injury will heal faster than the emotional.

And last but not least,
in order for me to conclude this [thought] in my head
I must go experience the conclusion.
